BECKLEY, WV (WOAY)- A single car crash in Beckley hit a telephone line early Sunday Morning causing road closure and customers without power on Maxhill Road.
Raleigh County Dispatchers told WOAY at 9:20 a.m. that the call from the accident came in at 7:06 a.m. Sunday morning.
The road has been closed and will be until further notice.
AEP told WOAY at 9:25 a.m. that they are working on power and hoping to have it restored later Sunday afternoon.
Raleigh County Sheriff’s Department, Bradley-Prosperity Volunteer Fire, Jan Care and AEP all arrived on scene.
