Beckley, WV (WOAY) – Woodrow Wilson girls basketball is off to a 2-0 start in 2017-18, led in part by sophomore Victoria Staunton.
Staunton is one of many players back from last year, and she’s noticed how that experience has worked to the Lady Flying Eagles’ benefit in games against Oak Hill and Independence.
Woodrow Wilson was looking to continue that momentum Tuesday against Greenbrier East, before that game was postponed due to weather conditions. Their next scheduled game is Thursday at PikeView.
