Beckley, WV (WOAY) – Danny Bickey is one of the key contributors to a Woodrow Wilson boys basketball team that enters this week ranked second in the AP Class AAA poll.
He and the Flying Eagles are motivated to not repeat last season’s stunning ending in regionals to George Washington. Two weeks ago, the junior recorded a career-high 29 points in a home win over the Patriots.
Bickey and the Flying Eagles have two intriguing road trips later this week – at defending state champion Huntington on Wednesday and at Parkersburg on Friday. Their next home game will come in the Big Atlantic Classic.
