Pendleton County, WV (WOAY) – A brushfire broke out in the Monongahela National Forest today amid those hazardous weather conditions.
The fire is burning in Pendleton County near Circleville. The fire is roughly 50 acres in size and is 30% contained. Some structures in the area could be threatened.
It is burning in an area under a hazardous weather outlook issued by the National Weather Service. Fire crews are building containment lines.
