Brown Discusses Mentality With Season’s Uncertainty

MORGANTOWN, WV (Neal Brown video conference courtesy WVU Athletics) – Hear from West Virginia head football coach Neal Brown as he spoke via video conference on Wednesday.

Brown says the Mountaineers are still awaiting official word on when to move forward with their plans for the summer and fall camp; practices and in-person meetings for Big 12 teams are still suspended until at least May 31, a call made at the end of March. The second-year head coach discusses how the uncertainty has led to frustration for players and coaches alike.

West Virginia is scheduled to open the 2020 season in Atlanta against Florida State on September 5. Brown believes the return of college football is not only a benefit financially, but also for those who are eagerly awaiting a return to normal.
