Bowlers Raised A Thousand Dollars For Fayette County Special Olympics

OAK HILL, WV (WOAY) – Bowlers give back Charity tournament raised a thousand dollars for Fayette County Special Olympics

The tournament featured two bowling teams the Pinheads from Oak hill versus the Bowlers from Beckley. It was a close tournament for both teams but the bowlers from Beckley ended victoriously. Charlie Toney from C. Adam Tire Pros matched whatever the tournament raised. A total of 2,400 dollars were raised in this tournament. 1400 dollars went to the Beckley VA Hospital and the 1000 dollars went to the Fayette County Special Olympics.

“We raised it through entries into the tournament. The qualifying to make the two teams for the two bowling centers and then we uh we also raised money through donations throughout the bowling centers uh leisure lanes run a bowl raffle also,” said, Charlie Toney, Owner of C. Adams Toney Tire Pros

Not only was the tournament for a great cause. The athletes enjoyed every minute of the tournament
