FAYETTEVILLE, WV (WOAY) – A local chain restaurant is now closed in Fayette County.
Bojangles’ located in Fayetteville off Route 19 officially closed their doors on Wednesday, October 31, 2018. The closure is due to the lack of business.
Bojangles’ released the following information to WOAY Newswatch: “This restaurant was franchise owned and operated under a license agreement, and the local franchisee has made the decision to discontinue operations at the 160 South Pointe Drive location in Fayetteville. The franchisee has assured us that he is committed to meeting all of his responsibilities as an employer, including transferring all affected team members into jobs at his nearby Harper Road Bojangles’ restaurant in Beckley.”
This location opened on September 2, 2016.
Other Bojangles’ in the area are expected to remain open. It is unknown what may replace the business at that location.
