UPDATE: Bluefield Police Arrest A Man for Trying To Break Into A Home

UPDATE: On April 2, 2018, Detective J.B Fox and Patrolman J.W. Murray with the Bluefield West Virginia Police Department arrested James LaVake and charged him with: attempt to commit a felony to with Burglary.

LaVake was the subject in question of an event that occurred earlier on April 2, on Cumberland Road, in Bluefield West Virginia.

LaVake’s capture was largely possible by the tremendous amount of information sent to us from the public, via Facebook.

LaVake is currently in Bluefield City Jail awaiting arraignment.

BLUEFIELD, WV (WOAY) – The Bluefield West Virginia Police is asking for your help in identifying an individual for breaking into a home.

The subject broke into a home on Cumberland Road at 10:00 April 2, 2018. He is believed to be driving a newer silver Chevy Spark.
