Bluefield police find over 30,000 dollars worth of drugs, man arrested

BLUEFIELD, WV (WOAY) – A man is in jail after police in Bluefield find over 921 hydromorphone tablets.

On June 10, 2020, Bluefield West Virginia Police officers assisting Mercer County Home Confinement officers searched a home on Clovis street in Bluefield, WV.

The following was found during the search:

1- loaded handgun
921- Hydromorphone tablets
76 grams of Marijuana
$29,546.00 in US currency

Arrested on the scene was Reginal D Lowe, 34 of Bluefield. Lowe was already on bond, and Home Confinement was detained again. The “street” value of the drugs confiscated was more than $30,000.00.
