Bluefield Police Arrest Man After A Large Amount Of Drugs Are Found

BLUEFIELD, WV (WOAY) – A Bluefield man is facing charges after police found a large amount of cash, drugs, and bullets.

On November 29, 2018, at 14:27 hours Patrolman FB Ingole received a call stating there was a disturbance on Larch Street in Bluefield, WV, reportedly of brandishing of a weapon.

Upon arrival, officers made contact with Donquale Gray. Gray had a set of keys in his pocket that were consistent with a white Jeep on the scene, within plain view inside the Jeep an Assault Style rifle was observed.

Upon further investigation officers were able to recover the following items from the Jeep:

7.62 AK style rifle
Drum magazine
75- 7.62×39 mm bullets
4- bags containing what is believed to be 12 grams of Cocaine
3- unidentifiable round pills
$817.00 in USD currency
1- container with 71 grams of Marijuana packaged for individual sale.

Donquale Gray age 25 of Bluefield, WV was charged with:

Felon in possession of a firearm
Possession with intent to distribute
Possession of a controlled substance schedule I &II

Gray was transported to Bluefield City Jail, processed per department guidelines and taken to Magistrate Court for arraignment.
Patrolman DA Williams; Patrolman RV Johnson; Sergeant MD Pertee & K-9 Ace all assisted in this case.
