Black Ice A Concern For Drivers Tonight & Wednesday Morning

OAK HILL, WV (WOAY) – As temperatures drop into the teens tonight, black ice will be a major concern across southern West Virginia.

Temperatures will drop into the teen and as the sun sets, water on untreated roadways will freeze, resulting in black ice. Snow showers will continue into tonight and begin to stick to untreated roadways as the sun sets.

Motorists should use extreme caution and be prepared for ice on the roads.
