FAYETTEVILLE, WV (WOAY) – The New River National Park and Preserve has unveiled a new bike repair station at the trailheads of the Arrowhead and Rend Trails.
The stations include tools for repair, such as wrenches, tire levers, screwdrivers, and an air pump. There is also a mounting stand for bikes.
The station was purchased by the Friends of the New River Gorge National Park and Preserve, thanks to a $4,500 donation from the Enel Group, a renewable energy corporation.
Friends of the Park have also installed raft blowers at Cunard and Tailwaters, as well as fishing line disposal areas.
