Beckley Walmart Announces The Start Of Online Grocery Pickup

BECKLEY, WV (WOAY) – On May 16, 2018, at 10 am, the Beckley Walmart will be celebrating the beginning of Online Grocery Pickup with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Online Grocery Pickup (OGP), allows customers a faster and easier way to get our every day low prices on their groceries and other items in the store. They will enjoy the same low prices online that are offered in our local stores while our personal shoppers, who are carefully trained, handpick the freshest produce and groceries for them.

OGP is free and easy to use. Customers simply order their groceries (a $30 minimum order) at or by using the grocery app. They then select a pickup time and date which can be up to 7 days in advance and they pay online. When they arrive at our store, they park in one of the designated pickup parking spots on the grocery side of the building and one of our associates will deliver and load their groceries into their car.

This service creates an experience that offers the customers the convenience of shopping online and the ease of picking up their groceries without having to leave their cars to do traditional shopping.  With the addition of Online Grocery Pickup, we are able to enhance the shopping experience for those with disabilities as well as those who are busy juggling work, school, and kids.
