Oak Hill, WV (WOAY) Attention all veterans and service members!
A mobile unit is returning to Fayette County to connect you and your family with crucial resources.
The Beckley Vet Center will be stationed in the parking lot of the Oak Hill Church of Nazarene on Wednesday, April 8, from 10:00 am to noon.
The center provides free, confidential help for veterans, service members, and their families in a non-medical setting.
Services include counseling for depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and psychological effects of military sexual trauma (MST).
The center also assists with accessing support from the Department of Veterans Affairs and connects attendees with available community resources.
If you arrive hungry, the center will be serving hot dogs.
