Beckley Police Warning Residents Of Recent Theives Breaking Into Cars

BECKLEY – The Beckley Police Department is warning residents of thieves breaking into cars.

Thieves are always looking for easy opportunities and your car or truck might be the next target. Recently, several cars were burglarized throughout the city in random locations: ClydeSt. Sheridan Ave. Broadway St. Catherine St. S. Fayette St. Woodlawn Ave.

The Beckley Police are currently investigating these thefts which occurred in the late night or early morning hours.

Items stolen included electronic devices and money. In many of these cases, police report that the cars were parked in the victim’s driveway or very near their home.
