Beckley, WV (WOAY)—Beckley Police will conduct a sobriety checkpoint on Saturday, November 16, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m.
The checkpoint will be at Second Street at Thornhill Courts, with an alternate location on Johnstown Road at Jefferson Street.
There will also be roving DUI patrols throughout the evening and night.
The purpose of the checkpoint is to deter impaired driving and educate the public about the dangers of driving while under the influence.
