BECKLEY, WV (WOAY) – One local Police Department can now grab the shavers as “No Shave November” has concluded.
The Beckley Police Department participated in No Shave November to raise awareness for West Virginia Kids Cancer Crusaders.
Today, officers tell us by growing out their beards; they were able to raise more than 6,100 dollars for the charity.
Organizers of the event say this money will stay in West Virginia.
“We are Speak less the fact they were able to do that just phenomenal and we are forever grateful cause all the money every dollar goes to families no admission cost and our group that was goal of our organization was to make sure we touch as many families as we can in our state so this is going to make massive impact on these children, says Marisa Skaff, Co-Founder West Virginia Crusaders
