BECKLEY– State Police were called to the scene of a single car crash on Sweeneysburg Road around 10:15am on Friday.
Gary Atkins of Beckley came around a curve in the road, lost control of the car and hit a tree head on. Atkins died in the crash.
State Police say the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
