BECKLEY, WV (WOAY) – L.A. East Fitness in Beckley houses Healthy Eatz, a food prep service. While the gym has been closed, Healthy Eatz is seeing record order numbers, and they have even expanded their menu.
Customers will order online and then pick up their meals the following Monday all made fresh in house with no processed foods, and the meals can last for seven days in the fridge or months in the freezer.
Owner David Chinn contributes the recent success to the virus because he believes people are trying to be healthier.
“The food business has almost tripled. It still don’t make up for the fitness center being closed, but it certainly helps,” he said.
