Beckley, WV (WOAY)-If you or someone you love is managing diabetes, there’s an excellent opportunity to connect and learn this week.
The Beckley ARH Diabetic Support Group will meet on Thursday, June 26, at 10:00 a.m. at the Raleigh County Commission on Aging for their special mid-year celebration.
The event will include door prizes, awards, and a celebration of the accomplishments made in the first six months of the year.
This monthly gathering is open to anyone living with diabetes or caring for someone who is.
Each session covers helpful topics related to diabetes management, and attendees enjoy a healthy meal, along with the recipe to recreate it at home.
At this month’s meeting, participants will also have their labs drawn to track their progress since January.
It’s a supportive space to share, learn, and stay on top of your health.
