UPDATE: MERCER COUNTY, WV (WOAY)- Authorities in Mercer County have apprehended the suspect in a Saturday night shooting.
Darrell Hazelwood is currently in Southern Regional Jail awaiting his arraignment on a first degree murder charge. Hazelwood is accused of shooting Tessa Hill who was pronounced dead the scene.

MERCER COUNTY, W.Va. (WOAY) – Authorities in Mercer County are searching for an alleged shooter after a Saturday night incident.
Around 8:30 pm, dispatchers say a woman called 911 claiming to have been shot. Sheriff’s deputies and state troopers responded to the scene on Murdoch St. just outside Princeton city limits.
The suspect is not in police custody and there is no word on the woman’s condition.
