Authorities Say No Guns Found at Oak Hill Schools

OAK HILL– After numerous reports of threats at various Oak Hill schools, authorities have said there have been no guns found at any Oak Hill school.

Both Sheriff Mike Fridley and Chief of Oak Hill Police Mike Whisman confirm to WOAY that they have been investigating threats made at Oak Hill High School and Collins Middle School on Monday. They say threats were made at Oak Hill High School, Valley High school, and Collins Middle School. Reports of guns being found at the school have proven to be false.

Whisman says he has had multiple officers in all Oak Hill schools including private schools. He says that will continue through the week to ensure the safety of students.
