Arrest Made After Two-Year-Old Injured in Hit and Run

BLUEFIELD– A woman has been arrested after a hit and run in Bluefield left a 2-year-old injured last week.

Bluefield Police tell us Traci Miller was arrested and charged with leaving the scene of an accident with injuries, failure to render aid, no insurance and expired inspection.

On June 7th, a two-year-old little girl was hit by a truck on Lyndale Avenue. The girl had to be flown to a Charleston hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police tell us the girl has a broken right femur, but is in good spirits.

Miller has been released on her own recognizance.
