Armed Robbery at Captain Ds in Beckley

BECKLEY, WV (WOAY)- Yesterday morning, state troopers responded to an armed robbery call at Captain Ds on Eisenhower drive in Beckley.

Once there, they spoke to an employee who identified Brandon Jefferson, a former employee, as the felon. The employee explained that he was held at gunpoint and demanded the deposit box by Jefferson. After Jefferson got the money, over $1,100, he fled.

He was then found and caught by troopers not too far away from the scene.

Jefferson was arrested and charged for First-Degree Armed Robbery, Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony. According to the state police, this investigation is complete and waiting for the court process.
