CHARLESTON,WV(WOAY)- United States Attorney for the southern district of West Virginia Mike Stuart announces an additional arrest has been made in a major drug operation.
According to Stuart, Terrell Ledez Redd was arrested on Friday, June 15 2018 in Detroit.
Redd was one of 15 defendants charged in a federal indictment as co-conspirators in a multi-state heroin and fentanyl distribution network. This take down is apart of Project Huntington which is a collaborative operation conducted by federal, state and local law enforcement agencies that are aiming to end drug dealing in Huntington.
Redd will be brought to Huntington where this U. S. Attorney’s Office will move to detain him pending his trial.
So far in southern West Virginia 15 individuals have been charged in a federal indictment with conspiracy to distribute heroin and fentanyl.
