Wednesday will be another typical stormy summer day before Thursday ushers in the second round of storms that will last through Saturday. The usual afternoon and evening storms prevail, but a cold front will slowly approach the region from the Midwest, bringing storms ahead of it. Rainfall in the next 48 hours will be light in most places with around .25-.50″, though some areas may see more within isolated downpours. Here’s a look at what he rainfall totals may look like:

Friday and Saturday will bring more thunderstorms and showers across the region as the cold front slowly approaches and passes, continuing the weather pattern further into the weekend and even next week.
