UPDATE: Accident Closes One West Bound Lane Of I-64 In Greenbrier County

UPDATE: 3:45pm

Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Department tells WOAY that a single tractor-trailer went off I-64 hitting a guardrail and into a ditch.  The driver of the tractor-trailer did suffer injuries and was taken to Greenbrier Valley Medical Center for treatment.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation by the Sheriff’s Department.


LEWISBURG (WOAY) – An accident has closed one westbound lane on I-64 in Lewisburg.

The accident happened at mile marker 170. Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Department is on the scene and investigating it. There is no word yet on what caused the accident or if there are any injuries.
