BECKLEY, WV (WOAY) – Travelers who are yearning for adventure, but are not able to travel due to Covid-19 issues, can get a taste of what it would be like to be on an African Safari.
AAA and Africa Travel are hosting a free virtual live African Safari. The event will feature a live “Safari Sundowner” experience, an African tradition of enjoying food and drinks at sunset, and elephants from Jabulani Safari Lodge in South Africa. The event is scheduled for July 22nd at 10:30 a.m.
“AAA understands that now more than ever that people wanting to travel needs to make a connection with those destinations. So we have created a series of virtual travel events so that from the comfort of your own home, you’re able to explore destinations around the world,” said Retail Manager Autumn Bess.
The 45-minute live experience will be followed by time for participants to ask questions of hosts from both AAA and African Travel.
