PRINCE, WV (WOAY) – A Fayette County man is facing sexual assault charges for having sex with a 14 year old girl.
According to court documents, on May 2, 2018, Joe Curry, 23 of Prince, WV was living with a 14 year old girl and her father.
A deputy and Child Protective Services were called to the home after the mother said her daughter was pregnant. The daughter did not live with the mother but instead with the father.
The father told the deputy that Joe did live with them but that his daughter was not pregnant.
The Deputy said Joe denied having sexual relations with the 14 year old at first, but then later confessed.
Joe Curry is charged with sexual assault in the 3rd degree and is being held in Southern Regional Jail under a 20,000 dollar bond.
