FALLS VIEW, WV (WOAY) – A Fayette County couple lands in jail following a Child Protective Services visit in Falls View.
Sheriff Mike Fridley says on Thursday evening, Fayette County Sheriff’s Deputies escorted Child Protective Services to a residence in Falls View for a welfare check. In the home, narcotics were found (including methamphetamines), scales, and drug use paraphernalia within easy access to three children in the residence. All three children received CPS placement until further investigation outcomes are completed.
Amber Armstrong and Jimmie Coleman were arrested and charged with the felony offenses of Possession With Intent to Deliver Narcotics and three counts of Gross Child Neglect with Risk of Injury or Death.
They will both await court proceedings.
