A Fayette County Church Is Collecting Donations For Victim’s Affected By Hurricane Florence

HICO, WV (WOAY) – Lighthouse Worship Center in Hico is asking for the community’s support for donations to those that were affected by Hurricane Florence.

Pastor James Lynch says, over the next couple of weeks the church will be accepting contributions until October 5th.

All donations will be going to Religious Community Services in New Bern, North Carolina.

Items being collected are Clorox, disinfecting wipes, mops, buckets with handles, bleach, baby wipes, diapers, baby formula, contractor bags, and hand sanitizer.

Pastor Light says he wants to return the favor of helping the community of New Bern that helped them in flooding of 2016 in Fayette County.
