BLUEFIELD, WV (WOAY) – During the early morning hours of Saturday, July 18th, members of the Mercer County Sheriff’s Department, the US Marshal Service Fugitive Task Force, and the WV Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, arrested James Biggerman of Hedgesville, WV.
James Biggerman’s arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by Detective-Sergeant S. A. Sommers into sexually explicit communication between James Biggerman and two 13-year-old females.
James Biggerman, who is 20-years-old, was arrested in Bluefield, WV, after traveling there from Hedgesville, WV.
He has been charged with soliciting a minor and traveling to engage the minor in prohibited sexual activity, distributing to minor obscene matter, and use of obscene matter with intent to seduce a minor.
He is currently in Southern Regional Jail under a 75,000 dollar cash-only bond.
