GLEN WHITE, WV (WOAY) – A Raleigh County woman is dead following a crash with a truck and the horse she was riding.
According to the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened along Lester Highway at the intersection with Church Street in Glen White.
A truck hit the horse being ridden by the woman. Deputies and bystanders tried to save her life, but she ultimately passed away.
No charges have been filed, but the investigation is ongoing.
