PITTSYLVANIA Co., Va. (WSET) — The Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s Office said they are trying to get the word out about a missing nine-year-old who is also nonverbal.

The sheriff’s office said they got a call from a family member around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday from the 1200 block of County Road in Chatham that their son, Andrew Yarboro, had wandered away from their home and could not be found.

Investigators with the sheriff’s office, along with Henry County Sheriff’s Office, Danville Police Department, Halifax County Sheriff’s Office, State Police, and Angel Search and Rescue Teams are searching for Andrew.
