2020 Football Preview: Princeton Tigers

PRINCETON, WV (WOAY) – In four years, head coach Chris Pedigo has yet to record a winning season at Princeton. But, he still feels like the program has grown over his tenure.

Overall, the Tigers are a young team, only bringing back five seniors in 2020. Those five have had to take on new leadership roles this offseason.

It won’t be hard for Princeton to motivate itself for the start of the season. On September 4th, they face county rival Bluefield. They are scheduled to face the Beavers twice this season, due to losing games against Virginia opponents.

With the reshuffled schedule, Princeton has seven home games and only three on the road.

September 4 – at Bluefield
September 11 – at Oak Hill
September 18 – vs. Parkersburg South
September 25 – vs Bluefield
October 9 – vs. John Marshall
October 16 – at. Woodrow Wilson
October 23 – vs. Lincoln County
October 30 – vs. Greenbrier East
November 6 – vs. Hedgesville
