CHARLESTON - Gas prices in the Mountain State remained the same as the week before.

AAA East Central said the statewide average was still $3.37.  That's 14 cents cheaper than a year ago.  Prices in some parts of Fayette and Raleigh County were two cents cheaper at $3.35 per gallon.

The nation's average was a penny higher than West Virginia's.
