Man pleads not guilty to terroristic threats

BECKLEY – A Raleigh County man accused of making online threats to a State Trooper pleads not guilty to charges including terroristic threats.

Ronald Collins Jr., 33, originally of MacArthur, pled not guilty to charges stemming from an August arrest.

Authorities say Collins made threats through social media and blog sites against first sergeant G.A. Duckworth of the Oak Hill State Police.

Collins is accused of posting a photo of Duckworth's home online., as well as stating that he could have slipped through a window and slit his throat.

Collins' trial is set for April 22. He'll be waiting for it in Southern Regional Jail on a $250,000 bond.
