MABSCOTT - Authorities will continue their investigation into a Raleigh County home believed to have been used to make meth.

The Mabscott Police Department was out in the snow Saturday night to arrest a man for drug possession. The arrest stems from a previous incident on the 100 block of Pine Street when the same man was allegedly found with drugs.

Police told Newswatch those drugs tested positive for meth, and more charges may be pending. Police would like residents to know the home, which may be a "shake-and-bake-lab," is still dangerous.

“At this time, we have the property secured off waiting for lab techs to come check the chemicals that we found, and the property is secured at this time, and no one is allowed on the property,” Asst. Chief Lee Cook told WOAY.

Authorities did not release the name of the man arrested because the investigation is ongoing.
