FAYETTEVILLE - A brand new logo, chosen from a number of designs, is now displayed on a Fayetteville law enforcement vehicle.
Fayetteville Police Department is now proudly modeling a new look for one of their police cruisers. Rita Price, a former art teacher at Fayetteville High School, designed the decal chosen by the department.
Officers said they had multiple great designs to choose from and are grateful that so many members of the community got involved. They sent out special thanks to all those who participated, particularly Fayetteville High School and Elementary School. The new decal is a brighter green, with a picture of the New River Gorge Bridge; it also proudly displays their town name.
Officer Ty Hogan, said, “just so the community kinda gets a look at what we do and I guess just have them involved instead of us just pick one ourselves. And it made us feel good that there was actually people who cared that wanted to do it.”
Look for the new cruiser logo when you're driving around Fayetteville.
