PRINCETON - The sky is not limiting one Mercer County man in his attempts to help a local charity.

Greg Puckett of Community Connections is going up, up and away in his attempts to raise money for a long-vacant historic Downtown Princeton theater.

Puckett was lifted Saturday in a cherry picker, and says he will not come down until he raises $10,000 for the Princeton Renaissance Theater on Mercer Street. Both local organizations have worked nonstop to help revitalize the Downtown Princeton entertainment district.

Puckett is challenging locals throughout the region to make contributions for the good of the community.

"We've had so many stories of people coming and enjoying times here, and we want to bring that back," Puckett told WOAY. "We want people to feel that attachment and really let this be the revitalization efforts of Mercer Street. Let this be a catalyst, and if we have that, everything is going to work out."

Anyone wishing to contribute can contact Puckett while he's in the air at 304-922-2558.
