JASPER, AL - An Alabama judge approves the release of a woman charged with hiding two bodies in the Mountain State.
Wanda Faye Kiser, 62, was released because of her failing health. She's currently serving time for forgery in the State of Alabama. Kiser's attorney, Richard Jaffe, says she's hospitalized in Birmingham for conditions that include pneumonia, diabetes and congestive heart failure.
Jaffe says Kiser is on a breathing machine, and it's unclear if she will recover. Kiser is charged with multiple counts of forgery related to retirement money allegedly taken from two women who've been missing in Alabama since 2002. Female remains have been found under Kiser's old home in Alabama and in a storage unit she rented in West Virginia. No one is charged in the women's deaths.
