UPDATE: Police say body found is missing man

UPDATE (12/16/13) -  Huntington Police identified a body found under a bridge as that of a missing Summers County native.

Lt. John Williams said that investigators believed Randy Martin II, 31, of Huntington, died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.  No autopsy will be conducted.  Martin was originally from Hinton and was last seen on December 10 leaving his Westmoreland home. 

A towboat operator found Martin's body on Monday as the vessel approached the 17th Street Bridge that spans the Ohio River. 

Williams said his car was found Friday in a nearby Shoney's parking lot.

HINTON - Authorities ask for you help locating a Summers County man now living in Cabell County.

Huntington Police say Randy Paul Martin Jr, 31, is missing. Martin, who is originally from Hinton has been missing for four days. He was last seen leaving his home on Tuesday, December, 10th.

Martin is 6'2 and weighs about 190lbs. Martin drives a 2005 green Toyota Corolla with West Virginia license plate 6MWW11.
