BECKLEY - Police have filed a warrant for a Beckley man accused of shooting another man on Black Friday.
Detective David Allard told Newswatch that Rashad Morris, 21, was wanted in connection to the shooting that happened on November 29th at the apartments on Beckwoods Drive. Allard said that Morris was believed to be in the Huntington area.
Investigators said that through witness statements, phone records, and information they received from the victim, they were able to name Morris as the suspect. They said he'll face attempted first degree murder, malicious wounding, and first degree robbery charges once he's apprehended.
Allard said he should be considered armed and dangerous.
If you've seen Morris, or know where he might be, you're asked to call the Beckley Police Department or Crime Stoppers.
