WERTH- Five people face drug charges in Nicholas County after police respond to shots fired.
Nicholas County Sheriff's Deputies answered to a shots fired call in the Werth community of Nicholas County around 1am Wednesday. When deputies knocked on the door of the residence, officers smelled a strong checmical odor, consistent with the production of methamphetamine. Deputies obtained a search warrant and found meth making materials.
Casey Renee Adkins, 30, Julia Marie Homes, 60, Tony Lee Homles, 33, Darell Lynn Holmes, 39 and Joseph Albert Rose, 28 were all arrested and charged with conspiracy to make meth. They are currently in Central Regional Jail.
The Nicholas County Sheriff's Department says more arrests are pending.
