ATHENS - Greek organizations at Concord University recognized those impacted by cancer with a balloon release on the Athens campus.
The event was sponsored by Tau Kappa Epsilon. The fraternity was involved in a month-long cancer awareness observance as part of a philanthropy project. Member Corey Boothe said that the group collected names of cancer patients and wrote them on the balloons that were released.
