CHARLESTON - Drivers felt more pain at the pumps Wednesday morning, the cost of a gallon of gas rose about a penny.
AAA East Central reported that the average price for a gallon of regular, unleaded gas in West Virginia was $3.27. That's just about 26 cents cheaper than the same week last year. Prices in some parts of Fayette and Raleigh Counties were as high as $3.45.
The nation's average was $3.21, which was three cents more than last week.
