TAZEWELL - A Virginia man accused of killing his parents more than four years ago faces capital murder charges.
Christopher Dean Looney, 32, of Belfast, was indicted by the November session of the Tazewell County Grand Jury. Looney was charged with capital murder-robbery and capital murder-multiple victims.
The bodies of Looney's father, Harvey Looney, 52, and his mother, Valerie Looney, 48, were found at their Pizza Plus restaurant in Claypool Hill back in March of 2009.
Looney was arrested on February 14, 2013. He's currently in the Southwest Virginia Regional Jail.
