MONTGOMERY - A structure fire in Montgomery has home owners wondering how it happened.

The fire happened at 108 5th Avenue in Montgomery. Little damage was done to the outside of the home but the owner says all the damage happened inside and explains what he saw after he noticed a fuse was out.

"The smoke alarm went off and I went upstairs and went in the attic and it was full of smoke. The second time I went up there the flames were shooting out of the northeast corner of the house towards the river."

The cause of the fire has not been determined and Harlan says he wants to thank the Montgomery, Armstrong Creek and Boomer Fire Departments that helped save the house.
