UPDATE: MABSCOTT - A home invasion in Mabscott has police searching for two suspects.

It happened at 204 Chestnut Street just before 6 PM Saturday. Mabscott Police tell Newswatch two individuals showed up at the door dressed as AEP employees and made their way inside the home. Neighbors say they are surprised by what happened.

"It's overwhelming, it's too much, not for this area. There's never any trouble around here, not since I've been here, none. So we need some 24 hour surveillance is what we need," said Deborah Bryan.

No more information is being released. The Mabscott Police Department and the Raleigh County Sheriffs Office are investigating.

ORIGINAL: MABSCOTT - One person is injured during an invasion into their home. Dispatchers say it happened on Chestnut Street in Mabscott just before 6 PM.  The occupant of the home was hurt in the incident, but no word yet on their condition.  The Mabscott Police Department is investigating.
