HERNSHAW - A Fayette County man is arrested and officials are looking for two more suspects connected to an alleged shooting in Kanawha County.

Zacharia Woodson, 26, of Boomer is charged with attempted murder and armed robbery.

According to a criminal complaint, State Police responded to a reported shooting in Hernshaw Wednesday. Troopers found a disoriented bleeding man there and the victim was taken to Charleston Area Medical Center for treatment. The man told officers that while he was alone at his home, he heard a knock on his back door and when he went to open it, three men - two of whom were wearing masks - forced their way into the home. He said one man restrained him while the other two searched his house.

The suspects got away with $600, then the man who was not wearing a mask shot him in the head and the three suspects took off. During the course of the investigation, troopers were able to name Woodson as a potential suspect and after showing a picture lineup to the victim, they were able to issue a warrant. Woodson remains in Southern Regional Jail.
